NEWMAN -- The funeral for Gertrude Newman, 94, who died Jan. 2, 2006, will be tomorrow at 10:15 a.m. from DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church, celebrated by the Rev. Daniel Brunton, chaplain of Providence Care Center. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. If friends desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Mount Greylock Patient Activities Fund in care of the funeral home. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Kathy Johnson, Billy, Larry, and Lorrie McMahon, Michael and Paul Newman, Dorothy Mack-Lummus, and Jennifer M. and Amy M. Slonski; 10 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and one niece, Evelyn Warren. She was close to our hearts. We will miss you, Gram.
