James Cooley Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of James F. Cooley, Jr., (52), originally from Sandisfield, MA. James dedicated 34 years to his career as a highly respected aviation MRO quality inspector. James found joy in heavy metal music, American muscle cars, & fishing.

Born to James and Karen Cooley of Beech Island, SC. He is also survived by his children: Michael Cooley of Vanceboro, NC. Craig Cooley and his wife Ashley, and their children, Waylon and Ella of Richlands, NC and his daughter, Morgan Cooley of Easthampton, MA.

James is also survived by his sister, Shannon Margraf and her husband Jody of Otis, MA; his brother, Scott Cooley and his wife Lori of South Windsor, CT; as well as many nieces and nephews. He held a special bond with his beloved sister-in-law and friend, Julie Clifford, and niece Cody of Granville, MA. He also leaves his former partner of many years, Michelle Havill of Great Barrington, MA, and his former wife, Darcy Clifford.

A celebration of James's life, filled with love and memories, will be held at a later date.
