Joann Burdick Obituary
Joann was born on October 8, 1964 to John and Kathleen Bolner. She attended Drury High School and graduated with the class of 1982. She then attended Westfield State University graduating with a degree in Computer Science and Fine Arts. Joann loved cooking and gardening and was often referred to as a "Master Chef' and "Master Gardener".
Joann and her mother owned and operated Galadriel's Clothing store in North Adams for many years.
Joann leaves behind two children, Tess of New York and Austin of North Adams, MA; her father John Bolner (Geraldine) of Readsboro, VT; her mother, Kathleen Mazanec, of North Adams, MA; one brother, Christopher Bolner (Tina) of North Adams, MA; his two daughters, Olivia Cote (Matt) of Cheshire, MA and Abigail Bolner of North Adams, MA. Joann also leaves her two best friends, Debra Jean Trottier of Clarksburg, MA and Mark Lowe of Readsboro, VT. She also leaves aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. Joann will be sorely missed by all.
Services were private for family and close friends. Joann's ashes were spread at an undisclosed location.
Memorial donations can be made to the Berkshire Humane Society, 214 Barker Road, Pittsfield, MA 01201 or to any charity of the donor's choice.

Dear Kathy and family, my heart broke at hearing of the loss of your beloved Joann. She was a beautiful, talented lady with the essence of an elf. She brought so much magic and wonder to life, and because we all were so blessed to know and love her the pain of her loss is ever greater. I pray you are all consoled in this time of great grief and that the memories of her love will sustain you all.

I was saddened to read about the passing of Joann. I just remember that she was an amazing friend to the people she was close to in her life. God rest her soul. My sincere condolences to everyone that loved this amazing women.

So sad to hear this . Jo jo as I very fondly called her was a big part of my growing up days in Readsboro and I always loved running in to her and catching up on life events. My deepest sympathy and love to you all.
