Justin H. Warner Jr.

1935 - 2017

Justin H. Warner, Jr., 82, of Ormwood Drive, Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Adams, MA, died on November 3, 2017 at Florida Memorial Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL.

He was born in Pittsfield, MA on October 3, 1935, the son of the late Justin H. Warner and Mabel (Mottor) Warner. Justin and Shirley (Lagowski) were married at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Adams, MA on September 20, 1958.

Mr. Warner attended Adams High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. He was a member of the Adams Police Department prior to moving to Florida in 1974. He retired in 1995 after 21 years' service with the city of Ormond Beach as Supervisor of Maintenance in the Recreation Department. He was a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, the Ormond Beach Historical Society, and the Halifax Genealogical Society.

Besides his wife of 59 years, Justin is survived by a brother, Gerald Warner of La Vista, NE. A brother, Gordon Warner of Eloy, AZ and a sister, Doris Laeng of Tucson, AZ predeceased him.

Justin requested there be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams, MA at a later date.
