Leonard Cohen Obituary
A native of Pittsfield, where he lived almost his entire life, Lenny was proud to represent the Berkshires wherever he went. A founding partner of Cohen Kinne Valicenti & Cook LLP, Lenny spent decades ensuring thousands of Berkshire's defendants received a fair trial. In the process, he was recognized as one of the commonwealth's best attorneys. He loved playing tennis, cheering on his beloved Red Sox and Celtics, and attending concerts at Tanglewood and South Mountain, where he also served as a Board Member.
An exceptional storyteller in the courtroom and at the dinner table, he kept his audience rapt right until the end. His stories and his infectious charm will remain alive for generations to come through his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th at 11:00 AM at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road Pittsfield, MA. Contributions in his memory can be made to Congregation Knesset Israel. To add to the Book of Memories, please visit www.flynndagnolifuneralhomes.com.

I am so so sorry to read of Lenny's passing. I had just asked about him a few weeks ago because it had been a long time. I only knew him professionally. He was by far one of the best defense attorneys I hav ever been on the stand with. As a young cop, he scared the daylights out of me. But, as years went on, I learned a lot from him just by his questions on the stand. Out of the court room, there was nothing but respect shared, even when he so eloquently made me look like a salty rookie on the stand, even having several years on the job. Nothing but respect.
