Marie Clement Obituary
She was born in Adams on May 6, 1944 to Oliver Chaput and Ethel (Amadon) James. She was educated in Adams schools and was a 1962 graduate of Adams High School.
She worked as a system coordinator for General Electric, General Dynamics and Martin Marietta.
Her son Dean and his family were the loves of her life.
Marie is survived by her son, Dean Clement and wife Kathie of Berkshire Village; Two granddaughters, Rachel Dermody and husband Daniel of Pittsfield, and Dana Clement of Pittsfield. She also leaves her sister in-law, Nancy Chaput of Cheshire.
She was predeceased by her sister Carol LeClaire and husband Clement LeClaire, and brother Robert Chaput, step-father Bertram James and her granddaughter, Deanna Katherine.
Funeral Notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Cheshire. Burial will be held in the spring in Cheshire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to the Cardiac Rehab Center at Berkshire Medical Center in care of Dery-Cheshire Funeral Home, PO Box 445, Cheshire, MA 01225

DEAN and family-I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was such a sweet and nice person.We worked together for a short time-we had fun and did the work.I think she told of a seat belt on her chair-It was me-we had a running joke on that.I will miss her e-mails and phone chats. May she rest in peace.

There are no words to tell you how sorry I am to hear of Marie's passing. We met in 1984 and worked in Production Control together for years, and had a friendship that made work fun. I can hear her laugh! I have so many wonderful memories of your Mom over 37 years that I will treasure. She loved you so much Dean, and her granddaughters were cherished by her. I feel like I know them from years of hearing about their lives, and yours too. May your memories of her love for all of you help you through this difficult time. Rest in peace my dear friend, and may God greet you at Heavens Gate and say, Welcome home my dear child, this is your reward for a life well lived.
