Mark Kennedy Obituary
Mark was a 1976 graduate of Taconic High School. He attended Bishop College in Texas and then received his associates degree from Holyoke Community College. He also attended Northeastern University and received the 2012 Howdy Award from the City of Springfield.
Mr. Kennedy was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Human Services. He was a former member of the Second Congregational Church and member of the Pittsfield Church of Christ in Pittsfield.
He is survived by his brothers, Samuel "Tymothy" Kennedy of Pittsfield and Marvin E. Kennedy of Springfield. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as many great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Deborah Kennedy, his parents and his brothers, Richard D. Kennedy and Reginald C. Kennedy.
Funeral Notice: A Memorial service will be held at the Pittsfield Church of Christ on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to Rites of Passage and Empower: R.O.P.E., PO Box 1016, Pittsfield, MA 01201. RopeBerkshires.org

Visiting with Mark & Emma was such a fun time. Emma and I worked together for years and had stayed close. The times I would see them them both was always full of great stories and love. I´m sorry to hear Mark has died too. He was such a wonderful man. My condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences to the entire Kennedy family.
Mark and I were classmates from kindergarten through to high school. Mark´s mother Mrs Emma Kennedy and my mother Mrs Lillian Ward were very close friends from the time that Kennedys moved to Pittsfield to their golden years.
