PITTSFIELD -- Michael John Angelo, 46, of 107 Union St. died Tuesday at home after a short illness.
Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 17, 1957, son of Barbara Keehnle Angelo Keyes of Pittsfield and the late John Joseph Angelo, he was educated in local schools and was a 1975 graduate of Monument Mountain High School in Great Barrington.
At the time of his death, Mr. Angelo was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Hillcrest Commons and had previously worked for many years in California. He also had worked at Pittsfield News and as a dispatcher for The Berkshire Eagle.
An accomplished musician, he played the guitar, bass guitar and drums. He was a New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan.
Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Kristiaan Angelo of Waterloo, Ontario; two daughters, Morgan Angelo and Kathryn Angelo, both of Monroe; a sister, Susan Angelo-Pensivy of Middlefield, and his stepfather, Eugene Keyes of Pittsfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Michael John Angelo, 46, died Jan. 20, 2004. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 1 at DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME by the Rev. Peter Gregory, pastor of St. Charles' Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lee. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the DARE Program or the Keenan House, both in care of the funeral home.

He and I played together 30 some years ago.
