Paul Batacchi Obituary
SHEFFIELD Paul S. Batacchi, Sr., 89, of South Main Street died November 6, 2014. Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years Theodora Jost Batacchi; four sons, Robert Lee, Paul, Peter and Theodore; two daughters, Bya Kakley and her husband, Neal, and Patricia Percy and her husband, Michael; as well as his brother, Arthur Batacchi; and his nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his three sisters. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME in Great Barrington, conducted by Deacon Ed Shaw. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Sheffield Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 10, from 4 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Great Barrington. Donations in Paul's memory may be made to the American Red Cross through Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230. Dear Batacchi family,
Steve and I want let you know how sorry we are to hear of Paul's passing,, Speaking for all the Kelsey family, Paul and Don were the greatest friends. from the time Don Kelsey owned the Blue Belton Inn with all the stories of their New years Eve parties to their hunting journeys together they did it all. Paul was such a great hunter and meat maker. and always was plowing someone out during a snow storm. He loved parties and gathering of anykind/ I am sure that Don and Paul are up in heaven looking down at us. He was a great man in the community/
