LANESBORO -- Pearl O. Davis, 76, of 181 Old State Road died Tuesday evening at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Berkshire Village on July 8, 1928, daughter of Adolph and Agnes Britton Francoeur, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Davis was employed by the former Kmart in Pittsfield for 23 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a communicant of North American Martyrs' Church.
She and her husband, Joseph Davis, were married July 26, 1946.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Tammy Rosier of Berkshire Village; a son, Steven Davis of Lanesboro; a brother, Noble Francoeur of Pittsfield; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Gregory Davis, on Feb. 18, 1977, and a daughter, Mary Francesconi, on Sept. 25, 2003.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Pearl will be lovingly missed by her son-in-law, Frank Rosier, and daughter-in-law, Dale Davis. The funeral for Pearl O. Davis, 76, who died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, will be Friday at 10:30 from DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at North American Martyrs Church celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. A calling hour from 9:30 to 10:30 at the funeral home will precede the funeral.
