Peter John Spadaccini

1949 - 2025

Peter John Spadaccini, 76 of Housatonic died Friday September 19, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Peter was born in Great Barrington on April 10, 1949 son of Natale "Ned" and Dominica "Maggie" (Pellegrini) Spadaccini. He attended local schools and after High School Peter proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and later stationed in Germany. Peter worked as a mason for his own masonry company for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting and in his younger years trapping. He was a member of the Adams Budz Post #8183. Peter is survived by his wife Susan (Marcus) Spadaccini, his two daughters, Marie Norcia and husband Jesse and Amanda Mendoza and husband Tony and his two grandchildren, Lauren and Gia. In addition to his parents Ned and Maggie Peter was predeceased by his sister, Joan Holmes.

A Funeral Service for Peter John Spadaccini will be held on Saturday September 27 at 10:00 AM at the BIRCHES-ROY FUNERAL HOME 33 South St. Great Barrington MA 01230 with Fr. William P. Murphy officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Elmwood Cemetery in Great Barrington. Family will receive friends on Saturday September 27 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
