Richard Flood Obituary
Richard was an avid motorcycle enthusiast with a love of off-road racing, winning many trophies throughout the years. He also enjoyed building table top video games. Richard worked at Broderick Cycle in his early years, General Electric and then retired from General Dynamics in 2020 after 20 years of service as an inspector.
Richard leaved his girlfriend Leeann Killackey. He also leaves two brothers, Stephen (Denise) of Pittsfield, David (Arlene) of Cheyenne, WY, and his sister Linda Smith (Deane) of Rocky River, Ohio. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his mother Marie Boyer, and his brother Robert Flood.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 4 p.m.to 7 p.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, PITTSFIELD. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to HospiceCare in the Berkshires in Richard's name.

Anytime motorcycle talk came up My uncle Dick was the first name I mentioned....His 83 Husqvarna ,rz 350 and rz 500....were my favorites...so smart and a gentle giant..and a great uncle to have.

Dickie was one of my heroes when I was a child! He was a motorcycle God amongst our circle, and I was fortunate enough to have lived close to him when he was on Grove St. I had always enjoyed talking bikes with him in later years, and was always happy when he visited our store. May he rest in peace.
