Robert Renaud Obituary
Born in Pittsfield, MA on September 10, 1942 to Walter and Lillian Maston Renaud.
He attended Notre Dame Elementary School and was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph's High School.
Mr. Renaud was an electrician for General Electric for over 30 years. He was a HAM Radio operator and enjoyed computers and electronics. He was a former member of Christian Assembly Church. He liked stock car drag racing and bowling.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey R. Renaud of Washington, MA; two daughters, Amy C. Renaud-Mutart and husband Alan L. Mutart, Jr., of East Nassau, NY, and Karen M. Vonberg and husband Derrick J. Vonberg of East Otis, MA. A sister, Marilynn J. Gallup and husband Larry of Stephentown, NY. Seven grandchildren, Patrick Vonberg, Christopher Vonberg, Jeffrey Renaud, Jr., Bethany Renaud, Damion Vonberg, Kaden Renaud, and Amber Plankey. He also leaves his niece, Jennifer Roberts and nephew, Jon Stealhammer.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Renaud; a grandson, Derrick Vonberg, Jr., and former wife, Marilyn Reeves.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at DERY-FOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 890 E. Main St, Dalton, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Eleanor Sonsini Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
