Sandra Smith Obituary
Born in Pittsfield on October 20, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola Stickles Sisson.
She was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Smith worked as a school bus driver for many years, having worked for Bruce Transportation, BRTA, and Dufour.
She enjoyed NASCAR, camping, and loved her dog and cats. Mrs. Smith leaves behind her son, Scott Smith and fiance Jennifer Hunter of Middlefield; daughter Amy Smith of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Rebeca, Kayleigh, and Maryana; as well as great-granddaughter, Brooke. She also leaves behind her many cherished school bus driver friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved companion of 35 plus years, William "Bill" D. Striebel Jr, and her daughter Rebecca Smith in 1985.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Per her wishes, there will be no services. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends on March 17 from 1pm-3pm at Blossom Center 16 Bell Rd. in Middlefield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.

Sandy was a dear Friend to me. I sure miss her . She's now in a better place with the man she loved for so many years and her daughter whom I never got to meet. May they all RIP together
