Shahid Nur Obituary
He was educated in the Pittsfield school system and attended Mildred Elley.
He leaves, his brothers Andre Scales and Joey Bigelow both of Pittsfield; Tony Watkins of Springfield; A son Daysean Bevins, of Pittsfield and three daughters, Brenna Meyers of Augusta, GA, Ashariaa Supremee and Myah Simpson, both of Pittsfield; two grandsons Josiyah and Noah Moss both of Augusta, GA; One niece Jasmine Scales of Pittsfield; two special friends: Michael McMahon, and Catherine Horan, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Calling hours will be held April 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, with a service following at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. David Lewis, Sr. Burial will follow at Pittsfield Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at the Falcon Polish Club in Pittsfield following the burial.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Alternative Living Center in care of the funeral home.
