James and Jamie. This is a shock and a huge loss for everyone who has ever been lucky enough to know or casually encounter Shane. He enjoyed life like no one else I've ever known. Without a word, That friendly welcoming smile told everyone, even total strangers that they were in the company of an honest, sincere and genuinely good person. I will only have fond memories of Shane. Great person who loved life, gone far too soon. Unfortunately, Grief is the price we pay for love. Peace be with Shane, and to all who knew and loved him.

While I did not know Shane personally, I knew his mother, other members of his family and especially one of his closest friends. It´s easy to see the profound impact he had and has left on those he knew well; he will forever be in their hearts. My deepest sympathy to Shanes´ family and to his many friends and acquaintances.

The world lost a great one.... My heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends
I met Shane back in the day when he use to come into Sidepocket Billiards to shoot pool and hang out all the time. He was always smiling and wanting to get to know everyone. He had a very welcoming friendly presence that will be missed...
When I ran into him 20 yrs later in Lanesboro it was nice to see that he was still the same wonderful person I knew from Side Pocket but all grown up.
RIP Shane.

Jaime and Jim,
We are so sorry for the loss of Shane. Shane was the very best kind of friend, he was a true friend and no matter what has happened over the years he was someone you could just pick up where you left off with. As we sit here and try to wrap our heads around this tremendous loss, our memories of Shane are what is keeping us comforted and smiling through our tears. So many good times spent with Shane. So many crazy adventures, which he was always up for. Although our hearts are broken, we know he is now with Marcia and in God´s plan which we cannot fully comprehend, this is where he needed to be, I am sure she was there to welcome him with open arms. The pain is from all the love we feel for him. We will always remember him, he will always be a part of our hearts. He was so special and loved. Our deepest condolences.

Our sincere condolences to Jim and Jaime in the loss of someone so very dear to them. We have so many memories of this sweet, kind boy who lived next door to us for all of his childhood. In fact, I had left Shane a message a couple of weeks ago to ask him if he could help me repair my dining room table that had broken. He was planning on coming in the next few days to repair my table. This world has lost a very special person that cannot be replaced to those that loved him. My memories bring me back to birthday parties for my children with Shane and Jaime in attendance. I also saw the love he had for his Granny that he took out to breakfast almost every week. I would see them out everywhere together. I know Jaime and Jim´s loss and I would like them to know I am here for them in anything they need. Love you Shane. I know you have been reunited with your dear Mom, Granny and Grandpa.

I have always felt at times like this there is so little anyone can say.
For there are no words that have ever been invented to fit the loss of a loved one.
But one thing for sure is Shane friendship to many is one thing I will always remember.
With Sincere Sympathy,
