Thomas Lahey Obituary
Tom was born in Pittsfield on November 22, 1942 the son of John R Lahey and Marion Trembley Lahey Smith and was educated in local schools.
Tom had a 40 year career as a journeyman plumber. He was the first Plumbing Inspector in Richmond MA and served in that capacity for many years. He also was a long time driver for the Richmond Council on Aging.
Tom was a long time member of the Berkshire Bow and Gun Club. He loved bow hunting in Vermont and fishing the waters of Lake George and Lake Chamberlain. Tom took great pleasure in restoring, driving and showing his 1963 Thunderbird.
He served in the U. S. Army Reserve from 1964 to 1970.
Besides his wife of 57 years, Tom is survived by his son John and his wife Francine of Royal Palm Beach FL and granddaughters Breanna and Meghan and one great granddaughter, Lilly. He leaves one brother David Lahey of Florida. Tom's niece, Katie Baroli was very special to him.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Williamstown Commons, Evergreen Unit and Hospice Care of the Berkshires for their kindness and care.
