Born in Great Barrington on Sept. 16, 1960, son of June Bliven Crandall and the late Lorn C. Crandall, he attended local schools and graduated from Lee High School in 1987.
Mr. Crandall was a carpenter by trade.
He enjoyed traveling and had visited the 48 continguous states, and was planning a trip to his 49th state, Alaska, this summer.
Besides his mother, he leaves five brothers, Larry Crandall of Deland, Fla., Charles Crandall, Brian Crandall, James Crandall and Nathan Crandall, all of Otis, and four sisters, Rindalee Akinbobola of Topsham, Maine, Edith Edwards of Greensbury, N.Y., Shirley Crandall of Otis, and Marian Carr of Sandisfield.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- The funeral for Timothy M. Crandall will be conducted Thursday, June 19, at 10 at First Congregational Church in Otis by the Rev. Herb Seaver. Burial will follow in Otis Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 18, from 4 until 7 at FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond and his sister June. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Organization of First Congregational Church of Otis through the funeral home, 426 Main St., Great Barrington, MA 01230. My thoughts are with you folks at this time. I have good memories of Tim from school and gymnastics. I apoligize for not attending the funeral as i just found out it was today, had i known i would have been there to help support you guys and pay my respects. My deepest sympathies to the Crandalls. Timmy was a big part of my childhood growing up in Otis as were all the Crandalls. I spent many warm summer weekends going between the Otis Reservoir and Big Pond with Timmy and will never forget his smile or his laugh.
