Winston Russ Judd
1923 - 2013 CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. Winston Russ Judd, 90, of Clifton Park, N.Y., passed away on July 27, with his loving family at his side.
Born in Bradford, Vt., on April 15, 1923, he was the son of Carlos J. and Edith Mativia Judd, He was a 1940 graduate of Pittsfield High School.
In 1941, he graduated Navy Victory 5 Training Program becoming a Naval Aviator. He was a World War II Navy Pilot.
He was an engineer as well as a marketing manager at General Electric for 43 years. He retired in 1985.
His wife, the former Dorothea Rita Scott, whom he married Sept. 1, 1947, died Feb. 12, 1992.
He leaves daughters, Susan Stentiford (Henry) of Manassas, Va., Melanie Judd of Medford, Mass., Valerie Simpson (Philip) of Ballston Lake, N.Y.; his sons, Kevin Judd (Gail) of South Glens Falls, N.Y., Darrel Judd of Stoughton, Mass., and Michael Judd (Margaret) of Bedford, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
FUNERAL NOTICE: Winston R. Judd died July 27, 2013. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 31, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, celebrated by the Rev. James. K. Joyce, pastor. Burial will follow in the Pittsfield Cemetery. There will be no calling hours at the DWYER FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project care of the DWYER FUNERAL HOME, 776 North St. Pittsfield, MA 01201

Dear long lost cousins, I just learned of my Uncle Win's passing while talking to brother Doug. He was a good man and I am sure you miss him dearly. I so regret that time and distance did not allow me to know him--and all of you--better over all these years that have passed. Warmest regards and deepest condolences for your monumental loss, Cousin Winston.

I just now learned of Uncle Win's passing. Though I had not seen him since my Dad and I visited Glens Falls in 1970, I thought of him and of you often. My thoughts are with you.
