CHASE -- Floyd "Floydie" William Kadwell Jr., 58, of Chase, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, surrounded by his children while watching his beloved Detroit Tigers.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1959, in Reed City, to Floyd Sr. and Hazel Kadwell. He lived in Chase his whole life and was a proud supporter of his community.
He is predeceased by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Hazel Kadwell; and sisters Connie and Paula. He is survived by sisters, Barbara and Velma; children, Jason, Sheri, Justin and Geoffrey; and by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at the Chase Township Hall in Chase. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Chase Main Street Foundation, P.O. Box 123, Chase, MI 49623. or to the family during the service to help offset memorial expenses.
