Henry "Ross" Normand, 70, of Morley, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. He was born on May 25, 1955 in Lakeview to Henry J. and Joan R. (Underhill) Normand.
Ross was very proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He died doing what he loved: hunting on his 42 acres of land. Ross spent a great deal of time in nature, whether he was hunting, fishing, or tending to horses. HIs group of fishing friends were known to put on quality fish fry events at their campground. Being outdoors around friends and the people he loved was the ultimate source of joy for Ross.
Ross is survived by his loving wife, Mazie; children: Tracy Day, Marty (Jessica) Normand, and Joseph Normand; grandchildren: Allison (Austin) Cole, Daniel Cole, Tyler Normand, and Riley Normand; great-grandchildren: Lucy Cameron; siblings: Henrietta Davis, Penny (Laurence) Underhill, Melody Olsson, and Charles Root.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Joan; sister, Karol Normand; in laws: Bill and Delores Couturier; brothers-in-law: JD Davis, Ken Olsson, Alan Couturier, and Barry Couturier.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, November 22, 2025, 12 noon, at Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes, Big Rapids. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Aetna Township Cemetery, Morley. Memorial Contributions may be made according to the Morley American Legion Post 554.
