Leo A Renne passed away peacefully on Feb.28,2025. Born on May 22,1933 to Paul and Marie(Depuydt) Renne in Big Rapids Michigan. He spent his early life on the Family Farm in Colfax Township, Mecosta County Michigan. Graduated from Big Rapids High School. Was drafted into the Army in 1955, spent two years of his service in Germany. In Nov.1958 he married Barbara McGuire and had four children Catherine, Gail, Steven, and Rhonda. In Dec,1969 he married Alice Rockwell of Petoskey Mi. she had three children Ron, Donna, and Rhonda J Breseman. They both adopted a son later Robert Renne. Leo Retired after 35 years of service with GTE in 1991, moving all over Michigan with them. He worked later for Sears, H&R Block. He later owned several businesses. He was a member of the Eagles, K of C, served on city councils, volunteered with St. Vincent, Food Pantry at St. Marys, and many hours at Right to Life in Jackson. He is preceded in Death by his Parents, Brothers John, David, Lawrence, Walter and Peter. Sisters Louise, Sister Mary Paula, Marian Stamper, and Annie Yost. His Wife Alice, stepson Ron, and Stepdaughter and son in law Donna (Greg) Martin. He is Survived by Catherine (Ronald) Rockwell, Gail Renne, Rhonda Renne, Steven(Karen) Renne, Robert (Karissa) Renne, Rhonda J (Greg) Hausler. His Sister in law Thrasilla Renne and Sister in law Sue Ann Rockwell, several Grandchildren and Great Grand Kids, and many Nieces and Nephews and Friends whom he Loved and Cherished. Per his wishes Cremation will be honored.
