Anna Lou Stewart

1926 - 2026

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Anna Stewart, 99, longtime resident of Big Spring, departed this life to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Viewing will be from 9:00am until 12:00pm, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 1:00 pm at Trinity Memorial Park.
Anna was born August 10, 1926 in Big Spring, Texas to parents Rufus and Elizabeth Neff. She spent much of her childhood in Vealmoor, TX where her father worked cotton fields. She married Henry Earl Stewart November 3, 1944. Anna loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grand children. She loved working in her yard, reminiscing about the good ol' days, and being a homemaker.
Anna is survived by four of her children: Linda Davis, Wendell Stewart, Betty Roberts (husband Terry) and Karon Avant (husband Dale); five grandchildren: Donnie Davis (wife Gail), Leslie Bragdon (husband Ken), Jeffrey Dekeyser (wife Deanna), Misty Bailey (husband Craig), Joseph Dekeyser (wife Kari) and Evan Avant; great-grandchildren: Kaci Davis, Stormy Bailey, Amorissa Bragdon, Cooper Keas, Abigail Dekeyser, Emma Dekeyser, Olivia Dekeyser; her sister Patsy Humphrey; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Stewart; daughter Shirley Stewart, and her siblings: Byron Neff, Viola Hodnett, Velma Morris, Virginia Cline, Authur Neff, Hubert Neff and Ruth Stepp.
