Charlie Joe Grigg

Charlie Joe Grigg, age 74, of Henrietta, TX, passed away Tuesday November 12, 2024 surrounded by family. He was born in Lamesa, Texas and lived most of his life in Ackerly. During his lifetime he worked various positions in the West Texas Oil Patch.
His final career path took him to work for Union Pacific Railroad, from which he retired in 2018. He always enjoyed a great love for all things outdoors, including many a hunting and fishing expeditions. Admittedly one of the proudest accomplishments in his life was success in raising a very large family. Charlie Joe is survived by his wife, Nancy Pollard-Grigg of the home; five children: Pandy Buske and husband Jim, of Dunlap, Tennessee. Bill Grigg and wife Anjie, of Dennis, Texas. Pank Grigg and wife Michelle of Tyler, Texas. Steven (Buck) Grigg and wife Tabatha of Big Spring, Texas. Allen Cole of Henrietta, Texas. Joe has been able to enjoy his 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He mentioned on several occasions how very proud he is of each of them.
He is also survived by his brother Mike Grigg, several nieces, nephews, a host of extended family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Bobby Louise Grigg, his youngest brother Glen Grigg and most recently his Sisterin- Law Lynn Grigg.
