Joe Alberto Deanda, Jr., 61, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2022. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday with vigil service at 7 p.m. at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Joe was born on Dec. 12, 1960, to Margaret and Joe Alberto Deanda, Sr. in Big Spring. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a lifetime resident of Howard County.
Joe worked with his father at Alberto's Upholstery and he did custom upholstery on cars. He loved dancing and motorcycles, but most of all spending time with family. He was always the life of the crowd.
Joe is survived by 2 sons, Jason Paul Deanda (Elaine) of Round Rock and Brian Mac Deanda of Austin; 1 daughter, Alyssa Jade Deanda of Big Spring; 1 grandson, Ford Deanda of Round Rock; 1 niece, Janell Deanda Martinez (Mike) of San Antonio; parents: Margie and Albert Deanda of Big Spring; 1 sister, Joann Montoya (Fernando) of El Paso; 1 brother, John Anthony Deanda (Letticia) of San Antonio; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles and great-nieces & nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfonso and Josefa Mendez and Gomecindo and Amanda Deanda.
Pallbearers will be Jason Deanda, Brian Deanda, John Deanda, Patric Beltran, Mike Martinez, Arthur Palomino. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ric Beltran, Michelle Deanda, Ford Deanda, and Paul Chavez.
