JT Smith Obituary

JT Smith was born on July 12, 1954 in Leonard, Texas. He died on March 1, 2025 in Big Spring, Texas. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, and mourn his passing, one sister, Dr. Jeanie Randle of Abilene, Texas, three brothers, Jimmy Ray Fisher of Big Spring, Texas, John Thomas Smith, and wife Monica, of Desoto, Texas and Jessie Ray Brown of Anaheim, California.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Nettles.
JT graduated from Big Spring High School, where he played basketball, football, and ran track. He attended West Texas State University, and pledged Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He also attended the University of Houston. JT was a free spirit who loved nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed taking long walks around the city, and socializing with friends. He never met a stranger and just enjoyed life. He will be greatly missed.
A private viewing was held for family.
