Kayla Timmons Obituary
Kayla was born Oct. 3, 1973 in Big Spring, Texas, to Neal and Kay Roberts. She grew up and graduated from Big Spring High School. She received her Associates of Science degree from Howard College, and also successfully completed the Radiology Technician program at Texas Tech University. She married Jake Timmons April 16, 2005. Kayla was an instant and beautiful step-mother to two boys, Stetson and Rody. Soon thereafter the family was joined by the births of daughters, Bailey and Keeley. Kayla's world revolved around her children. They were her light, and it shone brightly.
Kayla was quiet and reserved but was always there for those that needed her. Her gentle soul and easy laugh made everyone feel at ease. It takes a special woman to be a farmer's wife and Kayla fit the mold perfectly. From driving tractors, moving equipment, lunches in the field, and adding in those supermom chores of shuttling kids to basketball and UIL practices, Kayla always did what she could. No one was more important than her family.
Kayla is preceded in death by her grandparents Glen and Vonnie Taylor and Francis and Hughetta Roberts.
Kayla is survived by her husband, Jake; sons, Stetson and Rody; daughters, Bailey and Keeley; parents, Neal and Kay Roberts of Big Spring; brothers, Michael Roberts and wife Jessica of Big Spring, Ross Roberts and wife Jody of Big Spring, Jason Roberts and wife Cindy of Big Spring; father and mother-in-law, Johnny and Judy Timmons; sister-in-law, Lisa Rice of Morton; brother and sister-in-law, Judd and Lacy Timmons of Levelland; and nieces and nephews, Sawyer, Hailey, Kaylee, Jayden, Andrew, Daniel, Zachary, Jordan, Bryson, Makenzie, and Carlie Roberts, Julianna, Kensley, Carson and Gavin Rice; and Clayton and Cayden Timmons.

Neal & Kay, Michael, Ross, Jason and all the family - I am so out of touch with Big Spring - today was the first I've heard of Kayla's passing. I'm shocked and saddened! My heart breaks for y'all. So sorry I missed the funeral. Prayers to you all!!!!
