Mary Cole Obituary
She was born on July 30, 1949 in Amarillo, TX to parents Earl Gibson and Minnie Teal. Jeannie married Larry Cole in 1969 in Amarillo, later moving to Big Spring in 1994. She grew up at Bushland and Panhandle, graduating from Panhandle High School. Jeannie graduated from Amarillo College and W.T. State University. She taught at Hart Reagan County ISD in Big Lake and Coahoma ISD until retiring. Jeannie enjoyed reading, walking and any activity with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Cole of Big Spring; son, Dr. Steven Cole (Monica) of Dallas; grandchildren: Carter Cole, Cason Cole, Nicole Huff & Mason Huff; brothers, Jerry Gibson of Amarillo & Robert Gibson of Lubbock; sister, Suzanne Gillispie of Amarillo.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Minnie & Earl Gibson; daughter, Charlotte Huff.
