Sammy Hilario Obituary
Sammy was born on November 22, 1967 in Big Spring to parents Ascencion S. Hilario and Ofelia Galan and was a lifelong resident of Big Spring. He attended Coahoma High School for a few years then graduated at Big Spring High School in 1986. Sammy had an outgoing personality and always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved music, break dancing and playing the drums. He enjoyed sports, especially the Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, as well as playing football with his nephews.
He is survived by his sisters: Ester Calderon and husband Enrique of Big Spring, Mary Lou Villareal of Big Spring, Norma Juarez and husband Mark of Big Spring, Sarah Scalf of Big Spring, Sally Corea and husband Pete of Amarillo, Isabel Hilario of Big Spring, Cecilia Bates of Houston, Diana Rodriguez and husband Donnie of Big Spring, Joanne Valle and husband Danny of Big Spring; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ascencion S. Hilario & Ofelia Galan; sisters: Yolanda Moran, Mary Martinez, Virginia Bustamante, Rosemary Gutierrez, Stella Hilario, Isabel Hilario (Baby); brothers, Ascencion Hilario, Jr., Guadalupe Hilario; nephews, David Fierro, Henry Gutierrez, Jr., & Christian Gonzales; brother-in-law, John Morris Villareal.
