Stephen Milikien Obituary
Steve was born on July 13, 1944 in Anthony. He began a career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at La Tuna in Anthony. He advanced and later retired as a purchasing agent with the Federal Correctional Institution in Big Spring. After his first retirement, he worked as a purchasing agent for the City of Big Spring and retired a second time.
He loved working on trucks, rebuilding computers and fixing all appliances. He was an all-around handyman. He loved to work with his hands and was the "king of honey do's".
He is survived by his wife: Sandra Milikien of Big Spring; two sons: Woodrow "Woody" Milikien and wife Joyce of Alabama and Steven Webb and wife Keitha Webb of Gilmer; four daughters: Melissa "Mel" "Missy" Granberry of Tyler, Jessica Marada "Raider" "Baby Girl" Walker and Troy Wilson of Granbury, Robbie Mitchem of Big Spring, and Christie Jackson of Gilmer; 16 grandchildren: Breanna McEwen and husband Cody McEwen, Christopher "Chris" Milikien, Autumn Taylor Gray and husband Kerry Gray, Alora "Grace" Granberry, Elyssa "Faith" Granberry, Terrin Walker, Kanyon Walker, Kassidy Walker, Tori Hughes, Alex Hughes, Nolan Hughes, Sam Griffith, Sydney Griffith, Nicole Griffith, Kendall Webb, and Henry Webb; two siblings: Loy Dell Doty of El Paso and Timothy "Tim" Bert Milikien and wife Diana Milikien of El Paso; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his first wife: Barbara Ernesteen Mason Milikien of Shallowater.
He was preceded in death by his parents: JL and Hazel Milikien of El Paso; and one sister: Norma L. Milikien of El Paso.
Pallbearers will be Woodrow "Woody" Milikien, Troy Wilson, Christopher "Chris" Milikien, Kanyon Walker, Timothy "Tim" Bert Milikien and Curtis Milikien.
