Travis Bradley Obituary

Travis Marshall "Mark" Bradley Jr., 67, of Sand Springs, Texas, died unexpectedly on Saturday morning, May 15, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Mark, as he was known throughout his life, was a hard-working roofer by trade, owning B&M Roofing since 1984. In that same year, Mark and his wife of over 40 years, Terrie Lou Bradley, welcomed their first child, a son, Tyler Mason Bradley, into the world; and, in 1988, their second child, a daughter, Tania Marie Bradley-Higginbotham. They settled in Sand Springs, Texas, soon after, and made the area their home where they raised their children.
Mark was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Sept. 3, 1953, to Travis Marshall Bradley Sr., and his wife, Barbara Moore Bradley, the eldest of three children, which included brother Scott Bradley, and sister Kimberly Bradley. After high school, Mark left Amarillo to work in Saint Louis, Mo., where he started his life-long career as a roofer. Roofing brought him back to Texas not long after, where he met his future wife Terrie in Houston. As fate would have it, the couple came back to Terrie's hometown, where he remained for the rest of his life.
If you were to ask Mark what he was most proud of, it would irrefutably be his family. He was so proud of his children whom had taken after their father and became entrepreneurs themselves. His hardworking, and hardnosed, personality made Mark bigger than life. The strength he exhibited to his children carried them through their own triumphs and challenges. He loved his grandsons Brody and Bryce Bradley beyond measure, and had them over for sleepovers often. Mark had a soft spot for animals as well, and through the years, always had his numerous dog companions by his side. Mark enjoyed a wide variety of music, and could always be seen tapping his foot to the beat of his favorite songs, and even playing air guitar, if he so chose. He will be sorely missed, and was loved by many.
Mark is survived by his wife, Terrie Lou Bradley of Sand Springs, Texas; his children, Tyler Bradley and his wife, Stormy Bradley, and their two sons Brody and Bryce Bradley of Coahoma, Texas, and Tania Bradley-Higginbotham and her husband, Arick Higginbotham of Coahoma, Texas; his sister, Kimberly Bradley; and his mother, Barbara Moore Bradley, both of Amarillo, Texas; his stepson, Will Smith of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Travis Marshall Bradley Sr. and by his brother Scott Bradley, both of Amarillo, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday at Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
