Berdjoui Carayan Obituary

DENVER - Berdjoui  Carayan, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Cherry Creek Nursing Center in Denver.

Berdjoui Carayan was born on June 13, 1914 in Alexandria, Egypt.

She raised her only daughter, Maro, in Alexandria with her husband Renaud. When her daughter married, they all moved from Egypt  to Tripoli, Libya. After the tragic death of her daughter at the age of 33, followed closely by the death of her  husband, she moved to Billings. She lived in Billings for 26 years with her second family, the late Chuck and Therese Osburn and their two daughters, Cindy Thelen and Liz Eatkins. Her happiest years were spent in Billings, where she made many friends and came to be known  as "B." Our family will forever be grateful to the Osburns and the generous people of Billings who welcomed our grandmother with so much warmth. The last nine years of her life were spent in Denver with her granddaughter, Monique, and her family.

She is survived by her four grandchildren, Wayles Bradley, Lyman Bradley, Carol Bradley Meyer and Monique Bradley Concklin. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Baker, Caitlyn, Wayles (Hokees) and Ryan (Manchess).
