Debi Roberts

GARDINER - Debi Roberts, 59, of Gardiner, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014.

Cremation has taken place at Franzen-Davis Crematory. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the Gardiner High School with her brother, Pastor Race Robinson officiating. A life celebration will follow the service.

Debi Roberts was born on July 21, 1954, in Borger, Texas. She was the daughter of Mcrea Luginbyhl and Shirley Ann Pruett.

After high school, Debi entered the Navy and served for a short time before she was given an honorable discharge.

On, Feb. 14, 1973, Debi was united in marriage to James Albert, in Pinedale, Wyo. This marriage was blessed with three children, Hope, Nathan and Jamey. They shared seven years of marriage.

In the summer of 1988, Debi married Mark Roberts. They lived in Emigrant and were blessed with one daughter, Alex.

Debi was employed with Yellowstone National Park Service for 21 years.

Aside from the park service, she always had other jobs working in restaurants. She was well known for her work ethic.

Debi enjoyed camping, gardening and the outdoors. She loved to cook and was the first to invite those in need over for a hot meal. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She had a big heart and took in many friends as family.

Debi is survived by her children, Nathan Albert and wife Crystal, Jamey and husband Steve, and Alex; her grandchildren, Holland and Charlie; father, John Robinson; and siblings, Race Robinson and wife Randy, Kim Lorek and husband Dennis, and Joni McCracken and husband Henry.

Many other relatives and friends.

Debi was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Robinson, and daughter, Hope Marie Albert.
