Elaine Michele Hill
BILLINGS - Elaine Michele Hill passed away in her home on February 23, 2023 in Billings, Montana. Elaine was born January 1, 1945 to Orma McKee and Charles Kapple. She was born in Long Beach, California with her four siblings and as a child had many wondrous adventures roaming the coast.
As a single mom, she raised three children Lawrence II, Rochele, and Jennifer in Billings, MT. Elaine worked the majority of her career at Billings Clinic. She was a strong woman raising her children independently with support from good friends along the way. Elaine was a grandmother and great grandmother to fourteen children. She had a very unique and special relationship with each family member. Elaine loved animals, enjoyed bird watching, and junkin'. She loved her yard work with beautiful flowers, a groomed lawn, and maintained trees.
Elaine, Mom, Grammy, G.G will be dearly missed and will forever be remembered as the matriarch of our family. She will survive on in each of us.

Elaine and I worked together many years ago. I remember her as a hard worker but mostly I remember respecting her as a strong independent woman that possessed a beautiful, free spirit. We shared a love of animals. I got a kitten from her and she got a cocker spaniel puppy from me. Peace to Elaine“s family

Elaine was such a dear friend since we met in 1965, who always kept in touch with me. Even though the last time we saw each other was in 1976 when she visited me in Pomona, CA. We always exchanged Christmas cards and I knew something wasn't the same when I didn't get a card and letter from her this year and I just today got my card to her returned to me. I'm sad to know she passed, but I know she is at peace with the Lord. She dearly loved all her children, grand children and great grand children and I always got an update on them...she was so blessed and she was a blessing to them. God's blessing to all her family. Jenny and family, so sorry about the passing of your Mom. I remember her when she would bring surgery towels to the clinic, as well as all her little doggies. May she rest in peace and live on in your memories.
