Evelyn Annetta "Bridget" Carpenter

BOZEMAN - Evelyn Annetta "Bridget" Carpenter, 66, of Bozeman, passed away May 18, 2005. She was born April 7, 1939, in Circle, to Andy and Hazel (Palmerton) Lloyd.
She attended schools in Circle and in Glendive. She also lived in Laurel, then moved to Bozeman to be near the mountains that she loved so much.
Some of Bridget's favorite things to do were going to garage sales and shopping. She was an avid collector of many things from Barbies to Pez dispensers, and she got a lot of satisfaction from her collections and enjoyed showing others.
Bridget was always there for her family with a helping hand, an open heart and a kind ear. She was always someone that her family could count on to be there, to listen and encourage them with all her wisdom. Bridget will be remembered by all for her loving spirit and her wonderful sense of humor, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy; sisters, Leona Strand, Dorothy Strong, Myrt Quick, Beverly Lloyd and Myrna Kay.
Bridget is survived by her daughter, Theresa Carpenter; son, John (Barb) Carpenter; son, Dan (Jenny) Carpenter; grandchildren Angel, Tara and Dalton; and a great-grandson, Mason. She is also survived by sisters, Patsy Arthur, Circle, Gladys Shipman, Rosebud, and Shirley Hoverson, Glasgow; and by brother, Harold Lloyd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Visitation at Dokken-Nelson will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
