Helen M. Diede Helgeson

Helen M. Diede Helgeson, 77, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 26, 2004, at her home surrounded by her family.
Helen was born January 29, 1927, in Cleveland, N.D.
She moved to Billings in 1943, and worked for Pierce Packing for many years. She met and married William Wear, from this marriage three children were born. In 1953, she married Berton Helgeson, from this marriage five children were born.
Helen's favorite pastime in life was fishing and the greatest joys in her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two children, Marsha Helgeson and Dennis Wear; one sister, Francis Schultz; two brothers, Morris (Lily) and Raymond Diede.
Helen is survived by her six children, Betty (Bill) Daugherty, Sharon (Jim) Morgan, Bert (Holly) Helgeson, Bob (Lorrie) Helgeson, Patty Helgeson and Pam (Ande) LaMirande. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister, Wesley (Toots) Diede, Elmer (Sharon) Diede, Lloyd (Joyce) Diede, and Artina Gohner; sister-in-law, Violet Diede; brother-in-law; Norman Schultz; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 31, 2004, at Cremation or Funeral Gallery.
