Larry E. Jessen

Larry was born Aug. 14, 1939, in Wheatland, Wyo., to Glen and Mildred Jessen. From that day forward, Larry was a lover of life and the folks in his life.
Dad could strike up a conversation with anyone, just sharing stories and shooting the breeze. If you spent any time at all in some of the area's coffee shops, the friendly stranger sitting next to you was likely him. He spent his life in sales, his early years with Pepsi and later for 15 years with Ryan Grocery - jobs he truly loved.
The most important people in his life were his family: Sally, his wife of 41 years; son Larry and his wife Willow; daughter Laura and husband Matthew; and his two beloved grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel; his dear brother, Warren; and sister Beverly. Larry is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara; and of course he'd want mentioned his beloved cat, Jack.
Over most of the last decade, Larry made many favorable changes in his life, of greatest value was his dedication to his Heavenly Father - Jehovah God, joining his wife and children as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
A memorial service for Larry will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 201 Wicks Lane, Billings, MT, 59105, on Wednesday, May 2, at 3 p.m. Smith's Downtown Chapel is handling the arrangements.
