Lauri Werner, 61, of Billings was called home by the Lord Wednesday July 8, 2015 after a fierce and dignified battle with brain cancer.
Lauri was born April 8, 1955 to Bruce and Catherine (Marles) Werner in Cut Bank. She was one of four children. Lauri loved cooking and was awarded Miss Betty Crocker in High School. She was also quite the green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Laurie adored being with her many friends and grandchildren and loved her church. She was the life of the party and was very dedicated to her work at the State of Montana Department of Revenue.
Lauri was preceded in death by her parents and her older sister Gail Meston. She is survived by her son Russell (Becky) Wilcox of Hamilton and her four grandchildren. Memorials can be made in Lauri's name to The Cornerstone Community Church 4525 Grand Avenue Billings, MT 59106.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., July 14, at The Cornerstone Community church.
