Born on May 13, 1946, in Hebrun, ND to Paul and Eva Schaaf.
She is survived by her five children: James Barth Jr. (Robin), Vanessa Newman (Gerald), Stephanie Spragg, Mark McLelland, and Mandy McLelland-Giesick. Her grandchildren Jessie Barth, Savanna Sheridan, Nick Layne, Courtney Barth, Angel Plymale (Ben), Karlee Haun, Amelia Haun, Kinzie Haun, Cooper Giesick and Calvin Giesick. great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Abbie, Anaya, Ophelia, Noah, and Ryder. her siblings: Vivian Michales (John), Carol Kimmel (Floyd), Eva Larsen, Theresa "Terri" Devitt (Randy), and Jerry Schaaf.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eva Schaaf; her husband, Karl McLelland; and her siblings Bernadine Schaaf, Genevieve Schaaf, Valentine Schaaf, and Paul Schaaf.
-Viewing will be held on December 9th from 2-4 at Smith Funeral Chapel in Laurel.
-Funeral services on December 12th @ 10 a.m.
-Followed by Graveside service @ Laurel Cemetery.
-And please Join us for a reception upstairs at the Palace, 305 east Main in Laurel following services.
