My heart has been so heavy after hearing about Mikay..I met her through my sons best friend, when K broke his hip, he stayed with us, and Mikay was by his side, day and night for as long as k wanted her to be. We got to know Mikay very well, intimately, and her and I shared a lot of our stories with one another! She warmed my heart and made me smile! Mikay was everyone´s "go-to-girl"; whatever anyone wanted or needed, they knew they could ask Mikay and she would , somehow get what was needed!!
Mikay will always be remembered as an adorable girl, in my eyes! Her smile, her cute laugh and her willingness to make others happy, will be missed so much by us! She became a part of our family quick, and we miss her now. People come into our lives for reasons, and we take them for granted, and then when they leave us, we understand meaning of just that, taking someone´s presence for granted. Because we have lost our sweet, adorable friend, she has taught us , not to take anyone for granted, no matter how big or small of a part they hold in our lives. To her family; we are so sorry for this tremendous loss..she loved you all! We miss Mikay and will continue to remember her sweet, determined way of life! She loved hard and true !! I´m always willing to talk about Mikay and how I came to know her with anyone who wants to!
