Nancy K. Henry, 60, of Billings, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a short illness surrounded by her family on July 6, 2013. May she rest peacefully in the hands of our Lord.
Nancy was born in Buffalo, Wyo., and grew up in Wyoming on the family homestead. She married the love of her life, Michael, in 1974 on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Her years spent in Hawaii with her husband held a special meaning, living, loving and sharing in a paradise.
Nancy was a caring and loving person with her husband, two daughters and the other family members she was particularly close to. She would do anything for her family; her strength and love showed in all she did. She passed these strengths and morals along to her daughters, whom she was very proud of.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, of 39 years; her children, Tanya, Shasta and son-in-law Terry; a sister Paula; brother Richard (Carla); numerous nephews and nieces. She had cousins stretching all over the U.S. and Germany who all kept in touch with her.
Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth, and father, Gene.
Memorials may be made in Nancy's name to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
Till we meet again in the hereafter, our love and thoughts will be of you always and forever.
Many thanks to the staff at Billings Clinic ICCU for all of the comfort and care they provided.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Mountview Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel and memories may be shared with the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com.
