Rita Fay Welsh, 59, passed away peacefully on Dec. 11, 2015 with beloved friends at her side.
Rita was originally from Lakeland, Fla., and eventually moved to Montana, where she met her husband Michael Welsh. Married for 17 years they shared many interests and were true soulmates. They loved Montana for its wild beauty and big sky, living in the present and taking life as it came.
Rita was an avid animal lover and she and Mike raised many fine dogs which brought them great joy. Rita was a compassionate, courageous person with a wonderful sense of humor. So many were attracted to her generous and intelligent demeanor.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Michael and her beloved companion dog, Cambio. She leaves behind many friends who will miss her dearly. There will be a private service at a determined date. In lieu of flowers we know Rita would like a donation to the Billings Animal Rescue Kare or the charity of your choice.
