Stanley Frank Obituary
Stanley Wayne Frank was born on November 1, 1950 to Sam and Mildred Frank. Joining his older sister, Eileen Faye. He was preceded in death by all three, along with brother-in-law Patrick Shimskey.
He was raised on a farm west of Park City, Montana. He attended Park city schools and graduated in 1969. He played football, basketball and participated in track. He also attended Rocky and Eastern Montana College.
Stan married the love of his life, Susan Moran on December 19, 1970. He joined the Air Force shortly after; he served for three and a half years. After his military service he attended the Police Academy and became a Billings police officer and served for 21 years before retiring. He then went to work for Carbon County as a deputy sheriff, he served for twelve years until he was medically retired due to his diagnoses of multiple sclerosis. He spent the last eleven years in a wheelchair.
Stan enjoyed golfing, boating, camping and fishing. He loved his children and grandsons very much. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, daughters Cindy Frank, Wendy Frank and Lena Kallevig(Shawn). He is also survived by his grandchildren Jacob Kallevig(Macy), Caleb Romero, Brayden Kallevig and Kolter Kallevig, former son-in-law James Romero, his aunts Betty Yeager and Joann Hoffman,many cousins, his wife's family Sandy (Bruce)Markegard, Raymond (Kathy)Moran , Barb(Rich)Snow and many nephews and nieces: Rick Shimskey, Pam Madrigal, Kathy Markegard, Kurt Markegard, Kyle Markegard, Jerry Moran, Bj Moran, Michael Moran, Doug Snow, Connie Cardoza and all their families.
Stan passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He is now pain free and in the hands of his Savior.
The funeral will be on November 14,2025, 10:30 a.m. at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Laurel Montana. Reception luncheon to follow.
The family requests that memorials be made to St John's Lutheran Church.
