Stephanie Bauer Obituary

Stephanie Ellen Bauer, 37, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at her home in Billings.

She was born Feb. 18, 1973, in Billings, the only child of Lynn Robert Bauer and Susan Ellen Zink.

Stephanie moved with her family at an early age to Reedsburg, Wis. She graduated Reedsburg High School in 1991 and Madison Area Technical College (Madison, Wis.) May 1992. She earned a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in July 1996.

Stephanie's life partner was Jeff Dolan. She worked as a nurse providing care to the elderly. She had a gentle, compassionate heart, and was loved by many residents. Stephanie had a passion for forensic science, true crime, Hollywood and movies, especially the classics. Donald Duck delighted her and she had many collectibles. Stephanie is a beloved daughter who will be remembered for the tender love she shared with others.

Her father, Lynn; and grandparents, Leroy and Dulcie Bauer and Charlie Zink, preceded Stephanie in death.

Survivors include her love, Jeff; her mother and stepfather, Susan and Kenneth Mottram; her stepmother, Vickie Bauer and half-brother, Ryan Lynn Bauer; her grandmother and step-grandfather, Margaret and Joseph Bartolome; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cremation has taken place. Memorial funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Interment will follow at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
