Grace Adams Obituary
Grace graduated from Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, where she first discovered her passion for healthcare. She went on to earn her RN, BSN from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and was a proud member of Delta Gamma sorority. She enjoyed working at Golden Temple Natural Grocery during her college years.
Grace served as an Emergency Department nurse at UAB Hospital, where she cared for patients with compassion and courage. Her dedication to her work and her patients was evident in every shift- whether providing critical care or lifting spirits with a spontaneous dance party for a patient who really needed it. Her colleagues became a second family, and the bonds she formed there were deeply cherished.
Outside of work, Grace loved music, exploring new places through travel, and discovering unique coffee shops. She embraced life fully loving deeply, fighting fiercely for what mattered, and offering unforgettable hugs. Her warmth and openness left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Grace is survived by her parents, Frank and Ellen Adams of Marietta, GA; sister Alison Adams of Washington D.C.; grandparents Bill and Nancy Anderson of Beaufort, SC and Terry Adams of East Meadow, NY; her beloved cat Little Man and wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In keeping with her generous spirit, Grace's final act was to donate her organs to help others.
The family takes comfort in the words of St. Paul: "Love never ends." Those who experienced love from Grace are encouraged to share that love with others to keep her memory alive.
Grace's Celebration on Life will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Catherine's Episcopal Church, 571 Holt Rd., Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Grace's name may be made to the UAB School of Nursing Scholarship Fund, 1701 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35294 or to the Good Mews Animal Foundation, Marietta, GA.

I send you all my deepest and most sincere love, sympathy and condolences during this time of grief and loss, Grace and her legacy will not be forgotten . She clearly made such a difference and impact on the community and lives she touched and saved every shift . As I step into my own journey pursuing a career and calling in the medical field i can only hope to be at least half of the healthcare provider she was and will continue to be through her dedication and commitment saving lives not only in this life but beyond the stars as well, she will continue to make waves and be able to continue her work with every donation that comes from her. I will remember her and the impact she has made in my life only knowing her name and legacy through Google for 10 minutes. I will do my best to make a positive impact on my future patients and colleagues and in difficult or challenging time´s and situation´s to handle it with a little bit of GRACE.

It was such a privilege to get to know the Adams family in the years I taught both Allison and Grace piano. Grace bubbled with joy, and that joy was reflected in her music and in her interactions with people. It was neat to be a part of the growth for the amazing and beautiful young woman that she became, both on the inside and out. Wishing the Adams family a sense of peace, knowing that there is no place she can be or go where God has not been before and is now, holding her safe.
