It is with great sorrow that the family of Judy K Hicks announce her passing on the evening of Sept 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise M King and Robert H King; brother, John R King; and grandson, James C Long, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Austin D Hicks; daughter, Leslie Alverson (Tommy); son, James C Long, Sr. (Brenda); step son, Andrew Hicks (Jamie); sisters, Patsy Cox (Peck) and Lisa Roberts (Joe); brother, Earl King (Deborah); granddaughters, Lindsey Collier (Kenny), Miranda Tortorice (Matt), Lauren Sheehan (Jason) and Sierra Hicks; grandsons, Dylan and Matthew Hicks; great grandchildren, Kaeson and Kollin Collier, Kaylee, Gavin, Zane, and ViviAnn Tortorice, Madelynn Long, and Samantha Sheehan; great great grandson, Maverick Thim. The funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Saturday Sept 18, 2021. Visitation at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm.
