Louise Sexton Perry, 94, of Hoover, AL passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 in Plantation Manor in McCalla, Alabama. She was born on September 20, 1927, in Marion County, the daughter of James Oda Sexton and Myrtle Baccus Sexton. She had numerous jobs over the years, Hallmark Cards, Noble Book Store, Alabama Gas and eighteen years at UAB West information desk. She was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. Arnold Perry in 1992; her sisters, Loree Rickard and Laverne Looney. Survivors include her daughters, Jan Goodwin and Kay Roy (Bill); her granddaughter Tyler Roy Mancuso (Stefan); her great-grandson, Gaines Bryant Mancuso. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Canaan Baptist Church, 2543 Morgan Road, Bessemer, AL 35022 and Big Oak Ranch. Graveside services will be held October 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the cemetery Wednesday from 10:15 until service time. Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home will be directing.
