Bertha Sutton
Bertha A. (Wolford) Sutton (83) of Bismarck, passed away at her home Feb. 14, 2022. She was born in Salem, Ohio on Sept. 23, 1938, to Luther J. and Anna R. (Hiner) Wolford.
Bertha married her husband David on May 26, 1961, in Salem, Ohio. Bertha was an avid bowler and spent many years competing in leagues and national tournaments. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors on the golf course with her husband David. Being dog-lovers, she and David owned several throughout the years who kept them company on their many RV trips across the country.
Bertha is survived by two sisters, Velma (Albert) Shultz of Leetonia, Ohio, and Anna (Shawn) Joseph of Lisbon, Ohio.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband David Sutton, parents Luther J. Wolford and Anna R. (Hiner) Wolford, her brother Carl L. Wolford and sisters Carol M. Dotson and Linda L. Dotson.
Special thanks to the Arndt family for taking care of our sister through the years and handling her last wishes with her passing.
Arrangements are being handled by Bismarck Funeral Home and a private burial will be held later in the spring at the North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery.
