Beverly Braun, 86, Bismarck, passed away Dec. 31, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service and gathering will be held around her birthday.
Bev was born June 22, 1930, to Frank and Helen Ingle in Portal. She lived and went to grade school in Portal and then finished her education in Minot, graduating in 1948. Shortly after graduating, the family moved to Bismarck, where Bev met her dark-haired, handsome, husband, Kay Braun, and they were married at the St. Mary's Chapel in Bismarck on Jan. 24, 1950.
Kay put in long hours driving truck throughout most of their marriage and Bev kept busy, with a little help from grandpa and grandma, raising their four children. It was a great, fun family. She was an excellent cook and seamstress and she loved playing cards and was hard to beat. To laugh was a treasure, she had a sharp wit with a good sense of humor and a beautiful smile. She believed in remembering to be thankful and her joys in life were her family, her home and all the little animals that filled our lives with humor, affection and companionship. Her faith in Jesus promise "I will be with you always" gave her amazing courage and strength.
Bev is survived by her little cat, Jake; her son, Richard (Pat Srling) Braun, Colorado; her daughters, Diane Rardin Binder, Bismarck, Shelly Marie, North Dakota, and Darcy Ingle, Nevada; her grandchildren, Nick and Alisha, James Rardin, John (Lisa) Rardin and Candice (Joe) Artim; her great-grandchildren, Jaylen and Joey; her much loved sister and brother, Marguirite Forsberg, North Dakota, and Pat (Jan) Ingle, Minnesota; her sister-in-law, Fran Braun, Oregon; and many wonderful nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband, Kay.
Please remember Bev with a smile and never miss an opportunity to experience and share kindness and joy.
