Donna Mae McFall, 82, peacefully received her Angel wings May 24, 2013, at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 N. Fourth St., Bismarck. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Donna was born April 17, 1931, in Jamestown, the daughter of Melvin and Edna (Ibes) Kleven. Donna attended grade school at Will school in Bismarck and later attended Bismarck High School. She went on to graduate from Capital Commercial College in 1958. Donna worked at St. Alexius Medical Center as Credit Manager. She went on to work at the North Dakota Department of Transportation until she retired in her late 70s.
Donna spent many hours of free time enjoying a good book. She loved going to the lakes and fishing with her children on vacations. Riverdale and Minnesota lakes were some of her favorite locations. Donna loved going to the casinos with friends and family. She was uncommonly lucky and brought home large amounts of money formerly belonging to Prairie Nights Casino. Donna's favorite times were when her children and grandchildren came over for holiday and family get togethers.
Donna was married to Robert Gierke and divorced in 1947. She married James McFall in 1964 and later divorced in 1992.
Donna is survived and loved by her children, Melody (Bob) Hanson, Rick McFall, Robert McFall, Scott McFall and Kim (Tim) Brick; her grandchildren, Jason Austad, Jaime Austad, Kristen Scanlon, Jennifer (Jason) Wortman, Jessica (Dennis) Richardson, Michelle (Tom) Steidler, Patience McFall, Robert McFall, Dominique McFall, Ben Brick, Alexis Brick and Jeremy Brick; and her great-grandchildren, Brenden and Brady Wortman, Slade and Sabella Richardson and Alex, Jessica and Rachel Steidler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter-in-law, Sheila McFall.
